The Air Force Academy Association of Graduates of NH and Gold Star Families have graciously volunteered to clean headstones and monuments at the NHSVC on Saturday, October 2nd at 9:00 AM....There will be NO ceremony at the NHSVC on Veterans Day.
The Air Force Academy Association of Graduates of NH and Gold Star Families have graciously volunteered to clean headstones and monuments at the NHSVC on Saturday, October 2nd at 9:00 AM. All are welcome to attend and assist. The NHSVC will have a healthy supply of buckets and brushes, but you are welcome to bring your own. The NHSVC will provide cleaner that is safe for the grass and headstones.
We will place flags on headstones on Wednesday, November 10th at 1:00 PM. All are welcome to attend.
Flags will be removed from headstones and stored on Monday, November 15th at 1:00 PM. Volunteers are welcome.
There will be NO ceremony at the NHSVC on Veterans Day. The State Veterans Advisory Council (SVAC) voted on this change to encourage attendance to events or service projects that support veterans in local communities. Please feel free to share veteran events and causes in the comments below. We encourage everyone to volunteer a little time, treasure, or talent to honor and support our living veterans.
