The NH State Veterans Cemetery Director, Shawn P. Buck, reports there were 57 burials placed during the month of November 2019.
The Administration office of the NH State Veterans Cemetery will be closed and there will be no scheduled interments on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th, 2019 in order to observe the Thanksgiving holiday. The Grave Locator, cemetery grounds and public restrooms will be open to the public during the daylight hours.
Wreaths will be placed on Saturday, December 14, 2019 starting at 10:30AM, rain/snow or sunshine

A separate event will take place at Noon on the 14th at the Circle of Flags, the Wreaths Across America ceremony, all are welcome to attend that event.

Flags will be going out on Thursday November 7, 2019 at 1:00PM. We welcome volunteers to help with this event. It will be rain or shine.
Flags will be picked up Wednesday November 13th at 1:00PM and again we welcome volunteers to help out. This IS weather dependent. If the weather is questionable please feel free to call before heading here, 796-2026.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars and staff of the State Veterans Cemetery cordially invites you to attend Veterans Day Ceremony commencing at 11:00AM, Monday, November 11th at 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303
Seating is limited so you are encouraged to bring a lawn chair for your comfort. Ceremony normally runs for one hour.
PLEASE plan to arrive about 10:30 to avoid traffic back-up and time to park and walk.

On Sunday, September 15th at 1:00 PM, the 100 Nights of Remembrance team will perform the Star Spangled Banner, Amazing Grace and Taps. There will be NO closing ceremony for the 100 Nights of Remembrance. All are welcome to stop by and listen to these amazing volunteers play. The leadership of the 100 Nights group has decided to leave the focus on the music and the time to reflect on our veterans, living and dead, as well as their loved ones. There will not be any other speakers or events as in the past.
All are also invited to stop by to listen and reflect during the playing of Taps on Patriot's Day - Wednesday, September 11th at 7:00 PM. Taps will continue to be played nightly at 7:00 PM through Saturday, September 14th. Starting on Sunday, September 15th, Taps will be played every Sunday at 1:00 PM.
